This position assists in daily processes for underwriters and departments.
Job
Responsibilities:
Issuing invoices, binders and policies Assisting underwriters with data entry Answer and save emails for underwriters Direct customers with billing, policy and payment issues to the best person who can help them.
Effectively communicate with staff, carriers, and customers.
Travel arrangements Limited special projects Perform other duties as directed Education and Work
Experience:
Associates Degree or equivalent preferred.
One to three years of work experience in customer service and/or administrative area preferred.
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
Ability to organize and present information in a neat and effective manner.
Ability to manage multiple tasks, while keeping focused on the details.
Ability to exercise good judgment.
Ability to grasp new tasks/software/equipment quickly, efficiently and accurately.
Positive demeanor and a willingness to learn.
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel.
Good computer knowledge, as well as working in an office environment.
Ability to be self directed and goal oriented.
Typical Physical Demands:
Requires the ability to sit or stand for long periods of time, occasional stooping, and reaching; May require lifting-up to 25 pounds; requires normal range of vision and hearing with or without accommodations.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
