Dunlop & Associates is looking for a Legal Secretary.
In this role, you will have both administrative roles and paralegal roles.
While formal paralegal training is not required, it is preferred.
An ideal candidate will have a background in preparing civil pleadings, experience in law firm management, and experience filing documents in the civil division of court are preferred.
Experience as a legal secretary or legal assistant is also preferred.
Daily tasks will include answering phones, filing, preparing court forms, preparing envelopes for mailing, copying, collating, preparing letters, dictation, and similar administrative level duties typical in a law firm environment.
Organizational skills are a plus.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Microsoft Office Suite required.

- Provide administrative support to attorneys and legal staff - Answer and direct phone calls with professionalism and excellent phone etiquette - Prepare legal documents, contracts, and correspondence - Manage document management systems and maintain organized files - Perform clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and proofreading Skills:
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively - Proficient in using document management systems and other legal software - Excellent attention to detail for accurate transcription, proofreading, and document preparation - Strong administrative skills to handle clerical tasks efficiently This position requires a high level of professionalism, confidentiality, and the ability to work with sensitive information.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong problem-solving abilities.
