Customer Account Representative


American Apparel & Promotions is currently seeking an individual who is willing to learn. This company was founded in 1993 and has become a strong competitor in the promotional product industry. Qualified applicants must have excellent communication and organization skills and exhibit interest in promotional product industry. Individuals will be required to perform varied office work, answer phone inquiries, and assist in promotional artwork development. Customer service is a very important and involved part of this position. Applicants must have experience in a professional customer service work environment.
Job schedule is Monday thru Friday 9-5 (flexible schedule available).
Required MS Excel, Word, and Adobe Illustrator
Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities
Answer phones and transfer to the appropriate staff member
Monitor incoming emails and answer or forward as required
Prepare design and logo artwork in Adobe Illustrator
Assist with customer order ideas and production
Maintain office filing and storage systems
Update and maintain databases such as mailing lists, contact lists and client information
Education and Experience Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to articulate ideas clearly in both oral and written communication
Adobe Illustrator Familiarity (Graphic design a PLUS!)
Competent computer skills including MS Word, Excel, etc.
Internet skills including use of e-mails, group messaging and data collection
Not Required - to Applicant's Advantage
Previous experience in Promotional Product Industry
Intuit QuickBooks experience
Familiarity with graphic designEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
